Mod. Coworking Spaces.

Role: Senior Producer & Experience Designer, Brand Studio

At Mod our mission was to provide a healthy and productive experience for remote workers to love the way they worked. We aimed to design the best workday possible, bring a five-star service to the co-working world through an integrated plan using tech, design and meaningful hospitality. I worked alongside Autofuss co-founder Randy Stowell to design each touchpoint as it related to the guest hospitality experience and the employee experience.

A Brand New Workday | With pilot spaces in Phoenix, AZ and San Francisco, CA, Mod is creating a haven for the modern mobile workforce. Inspiring workspace, healthy food options, and helpful service — everywhere you go.

The connected workplace | Find a Mod location, check-in, and get to work. The Mercí app gives members everything they need to get it done in style. The chat-based interface also gives members direct access to Hosts so that extending meetings, ordering lunch for your group, or asking for a dinner recommendation is as simple as a text.

Mercí features | Open doors, ask a host, book meetings, order food & beverage, purchase items you need, track your workday expenses

The brain | Our “brain” backend connects door access, point of sale, memberships, room bookings, and much more. We call it “Host View”. It’s the interface that lets our service hosts control the entire experience so that every Mod location is up to speed on your next meeting, or your coffee, just the way you like.

Service At Your Seat | As a serviced work environment our Hosts deliver coffee, prepare up-coming meetings, and provide helpful assistance to members to make working off-site a better experience. So to stay informed on-the-move, we built “Mobile Host.” An Apple Watch app that lets hosts accept orders, complete tasks, and deliver food and beverage to members in a light and simple interface.

Love the way you work.

To bring this brand to life (and scale), our experience design team rethought every aspect of the workday — From the furniture, to the food, to the service, to the tech.
