PBR In-Home Advertising

Client: Pabst Blue Ribbon

Agency: Callen

Role: Senior Producer

Press: AdAge, Food & Wine, Print Mag, Fast Company

Pabst Blue Ribbon wanted to make their audience’s homes its newest ad platform—and put some of that ad budget in people’s pockets. PBR launched a new campaign called “In Home Advertising,” in which they paid people to decorate their house with PBR-branded merchandise. From highly visible items like shower curtains, rugs, toilet lids, and tablecloths, to more subtle logos, such as label stickers for fridge items and fish-tank billboards, people were able to order these for free online and, once posting photos of it all and tagging the brand, checks were sent to them in the mail.
